Fried
Vermicelli
Ingredients (serves 4-5):

1
pack of rice vermicelli (mee hoon)

Garlic
(chopped)
-
1 big onion (sliced)
-
4 eggs (grade A)
-
4 tbsp of tomyam paste
-
2 tbsp of sambal
-
Soy sauce
-
Salt and pepper
-
Water
-
Siew Pak Choy
-
Tau Miu (pea sprouts)
Steps:

Soak the vermicelli in
water until it becomes soft.

Fry the garlic in a
wok until golden brown.

Add the onion and
fry for 1-2 minutes (until you can smell the aroma).

Add the eggs and
continue frying until they are cooked.

Add the tomyam
paste, sambal, soy sauce, salt and pepper to taste.

Add half cup to 1
cup of water. Stir and bring to a boil.

Add the vermicelli
and stir with all the ingredients for a few minutes.

Add the Siew Pak
Choy and Tau Miu. Fry until cooked.
This Fried
Vermicelli recipe is simple to cook and healthy to eat. The Siew Pak Choy
and Tau Miu can be replaced with other types of vegetables such as
cabbage, Choy Sum (sawi) or bean sprouts. You can also add more
ingredients such as meat or seafood, but be wary of the cholesterol. ;)
